Why Does Building Capacity Exist

Building Capacity faces all issues impacting urban youth of color in the your communities. The organization enhances the mindset development of the students and staff, school systems, provides revitalization, and leadership development to attract business professionals, school administrators, teachers, and community leaders to work as a team, Building Capacity so there will be an elevation of Black and brown urban youth.

This organization bridges the gaps by following the Innovation Schools Network model. The goal is to design and lay out all best practices of operating a successful school, then training leaders and staff to implement those best practices, then providing supports to enable school leaders to succeed. Building Capacity will partner with Charter, Private, and Public schools to create a network of Education Refreshed.

Schools that are failing need to be refreshed and new schools need a successful model that works. Building Capacity provides the working model. Supports are focused on, but not limited to; Academics, School Culture, Finances and Budgeting, Data, Accountability, Human Resources, Marketing and Branding, and Recruitment and Enrollment.
